Live Slow Brewery
LIVE SLOW, DRINK WHENEVER.
Live Slow Brewery enjoys the slower things in life, like crackin' a cold one, taking your sweet time and naps. The can is designed to not only make you look really cool while you are drinking it, but also lets you know the perfect drinking temperature with the "ultimate chill level" thermometer on the side.
This was a collaborative project with the very talented Kylie Lacour.
Portland Vintage A-Go-Go
This accordion brochure is a map that takes you to the best vintage clothing shops in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon. It separates each quadrant in Portland and then also provides you with an all-inclusive map to give out-of-towners a better idea of where the shops are located. Hand drawn type and illustrations give the map a warm and inviting look and the color palette is reminiscent of classic 1940s and 50s appliances.
Cipher Quarterly is a print and digital publication that spotlights an influential hip-hop artist who is also linked with fashion. The Spring 2016 issue celebrates Kanye West's highly anticipated album The Life of Pablo and also features his clothing which just held its fashion show in Madison Square Garden.
Hardtail is a passion project that I created from of the desire to brand a femme biker bar that represented the fast growing female rider culture in Portland, Oregon. This project allowed me to delve deeper into concept work, photography and branding more than any other project I had done prior. It also gave me a chance to dream up a space that I felt truly catered to this specific group of badass females. Non-conforming and unapologeticlly authentic.
Honeyco. Chocolate bars were designed for the young modern professional who want the price of a middle-end chocolate, with the appearance of high-end packaging. A combination of illustrative type and a geometric pattern creates a tension while still appealing to both the modern and more playful aesthetic taste.
The Animals were a psychedelic rock band who released their album Animalisms in 1966. When designing this cover I wanted to play up their psychedelic side while also considering what animalism might mean characteristically. The album uses illustration and hand drawn type to convey the concept that they are living in a trippy balloon world where they are the balloon animals.
Royal Fetch playing cards give new meaning to the idea of dogs playing poker. This series of fun playing cards features illustrated bulldogs as royal characters in a Marie Antoinette style of dress. A flourish of color and powdered wigs adds an element of femininity that isn’t always associated with the bulldog breed.
Modern Day Greek Gods
This illustration series explores how Greek gods could be linked to modern day male characteristics. I used Dionysus, the god of parties, Hades the god of the underworld and Hermes the god of travel (among other things) and gave them a modern twist.
The god of wine, ritual madness, fertility, theatre and religious ecstasy in Greek mythology... So naturally he would be a modern day frat bro casanova who discovered wine last term.
Greek god of the underworld back in the day... But now, he is just your average goth emo guy who just can't even.
Messenger of the gods, guide to of the dead; the protector of merchants, gamblers, liars, and thieves. The god of travel, trade, roads, and persuasion... naturally he would be riding a razor scooter in a tracksuit while wearing winged air force ones!
Spaced is an absentminded driver's best friend! It is an app designed to make it easier to find your car after you have parked, reminds you when you need to feed your parking meter, and helps you find a gas station when you are on the last few drops of gas in the tank. The goal of this project was to not only create an app that made a daily problem in my life easier but I also wanted to create something that I hadn't seen before, something that brought function and illustration together.

A Little T & A
This is a self- initiated project that I have enjoyed immensely. It is always fun drawing body parts, because when they are on their own, they look so strange. 2016 seems to be the year of the ass and boobs, so this is a celebration of those two glorious things!
